Me
I am Helsinki-based freelancer Production Designer MA,. I identify myself as a narrative designer and world builder, and a group-working artist who is responsible for realizing the locations and sets of a script, to enrich the story and notions from the world and allow them to happen.
I get excited of atmospheres, stories, landscapes, co-operation, my peer artists and co-workers, and impossible challenges. New views and stories, new joint worlds to build for audiences to experience. I believe in artistic, technical and productional pre-planning. I base on working group where everybody is important.
I work and have worked across a wide range of media: film, television, theatre, installations. I have designed movies, TV-serieses, drama and weekly shows, for one-camera and multi-camera. I also work with pleasure as a Set Decorator and Art Director.
I believe in needed changes- always-to-come. I take a good care of my crew and I am also able to be realistic towards production office people. I am experienced, hard-working and open-minded. I like problem-solving and always work for the best possible result in production.
As a freelancer I have worked with various groups, productions, and many kinds of people, so I can say I adapt easily to new situations and challenges.
I have a wide experience of different teaching-learning situations and environments, mainly as a university teacher in PD curriculum.
